Iowa Beef Expo - Schedule

    • 5:30 pm  Limousin Social/Heatland Annual Banquet

    • Noon Limousin Sale

Be sure to come and watch the Limousin show on Tuesday and attend the Heartland Limousin annual meeting, banquet and benefit auction. This is a “come as you are” meal and everyone is invited. It will be located in the FFA Building on the state fairgrounds (west of the cattle barn), and will begin at 5:30 pm.

The Chili Feed will begin at 10:30am on Wednesday prior to the sale. Be sure to come early to sign up for a buyer’s number and a chance to win a $250 credit for the sale. The Limousin sale will follow at noon.

The Limousin sale will be broadcast live on www.LiveAuctions.TV . If you would like a buyer number for the internet, make sure you go to the LiveAuctions website or the Iowa Beef Expo site to sign up. Be sure to check the online sale catalog under the beef expo page click here for your copy.

*** Cookies and Bars are needed for the chili feed on Wednesday!!
Workers would also be appreciated, including clean up!!!!

*** Juniors who purchase heifers at the sale and bring them back to show at the Iowa State Fair open or 4-H shows are eligible for a $500 prize.

"Winner Takes Em' All" Bred Heifer Raffle - Who will be the lucky winner? The drawing will take place at 12:00 noon on Feb. 15 during the Limousin sale at the Iowa Beef Expo. Limousin Live will also carry this live on their website:  www.limousinlive.com. Thankyou to everyone who purchased tickets to help fund the 2012 National Jr. Heifer Show in Des Moines!!!

ILA Offers Incentive Program to Iowa Jr. Members Who Show at the 2012 National Show in Des Moines!!

 Rules:

1. Purchase a Steer or Heifer from an Iowa Limousin Member. Private or Public Sales. NO Immediate Family Members.

2. Show your Steer or Heifer at the 2012 National Show in Des Moines.

3. Up to $1,000 has been earmarked to be awarded in extra premiums to those Iowa Showmen!! Premiums will be prorated based on # of qualifying head.
